My heart reaches out to all who visit my site looking for the answers to their weight issues. I know how you feel. I know what it is like. That's why I share information on here for FREE - no gimmicks, no fad diets or pills - no signing up for anything - no annoying pages that go on forever but tell you nothing unless you buy an e-book or stuff like that - I REALLY dislike that kind of site. This site is very much the opposite.

FAQ'S
G'day, my name is Susan and I am so glad you stopped by. Maybe you are here because you saw one of my YouTube Videos. WELCOME!
Here are some frequently asked questions. I hope the info is helpful to you.
How old are you?
I'm 45 years old
How tall are you?
I am 5 foot 7 inches tall or 169 centimetres tall
How did you lose so much weight?
Through calorie counting and learning to exercise despite chronic health issues and disability. I knew I had to focus LONG TERM to lose as much weight as I needed to. I was very determined that no matter HOW LONG it took, I was going to succeed.
How long did it take you to lose all the weight?
I lost the majority of the weight in a 3 year period.
What exactly did you eat?
I am a Vegetarian by choice, so I ate a healthy balanced diet which included lots of vegetables, salads and fruit. I ate little dairy as I am lactose intollerant and tried very hard to cut down on as much processed foods as possible. To read more click here
How many calories did you eat each day on average?
This changed as I lost weight but was mostly in the range of 1200 - 1500 calories each day.
What types of exercise did you do and how much?
I worked out in a swimming pool - for ideas of underwater exercises - click here and there is a link to a Youtube playlist of simple exercises you can do mostly in chest deep water. I chose exercising underwater as it did not put much strain on my joints and muscles and helped to reduce the pain I normally feel when I exercise due to a health issue I have.
Did you follow a particular type of diet?
No - apart from eating a balanced diet and calorie counting. I did not at any stage use diet pills, meal replacement or any other similar product. I also did not do any food combining or eating high in protein, or high in carbs - none of that. Just the best quality of food I could access and I did have blood tests in the time I was dieting to check I was getting adequate vitamins.
So did you take any extra vitamins?
I took a good quality vitamin/mineral tablet (Swisse brand) each day to ensure I was not missing out on anything. The one I took was specifically for women. The only other thing I had was some flaxseed meal. The flaxseed was so I got enough omega 3 as I am a vegetarian and do not eat any fish. I do not eat any meat at all, including chicken.
Did you end up with excess skin from losing so much weight?
Sadly yes I did but I know by videos I have seen on YT that I was very very lucky. Compared to most that I have seen, the amount of excess skin I have is not as much as usual. It is in my abdominal area, a little in the underarms and the inner thighs. My doctor said I have good skin with good elasticity and I think that is why I did pretty well. I certainly could use a tummy tuck but I do not think I will go down that path.
Have you got any tips that can help me to lose weight too?
Yes, and they will appear here when I get around to typing them out :-)
